Favourite American Eagle Jeans
This title is misleading because American Eagle jeans are my favourite… period. Over the years I haven’t found jeans that fit me quite the same (although let’s be real it’s not like I went looking a lot more once I found me fav AEs). I’m the kind of gal that once I find something I love, I will re-wear it over and over and overrrrr again - insert my American Eagle Mom Jeans. But recently I added a couple more to the collection, so I thought I would share a list of my favourite American Eagle jeans and their colours. For reference I am usually a size 6 across the board with most stores, American Eagle included. Here ya go:
1) Distressed Mom Jean - Beautiful Bleach Out: I linked a similar pair because got these right before the pandemic hit (so I literally have worn them out once), they’re not as light washed but are on sale!!! They are the classic mom jeans, having that denim feel but I liked the lighter wash and the distressed look for summer. I got my usual size 6 and they are a perfect fit.
2) Mom Jean - Always Vintage: these are my absolute favourite jeans I own, which means i bought them like 3 years with their OG mom jeans, but they are the best. I will say, if I am eating a big mean I probs will not wear them because they will get TIGHT, there is not a lot of give to these jeans let me tell you. But they are so cute, and basically go with everything. Linked a similar pair, but I found a super similar wash in the stretch: here! Again, got my size 6 and they fit great!
3) Stretch Mom Jean - Washed Blue: I love how comfy these are, they’re perfect for when I want to wear jeans but also don’t want to feel like I can’t move. BUT I did have to go down 2 (!!!) sizes, now that was me personally, but I found otherwise they looked very baggy in the front area, I ended up getting a size 2.
4) '90s Boyfriend Jean - Blue Mist: Ok these are super trendy but I am here for it. It’s a baggier fit with a wider leg and still high waisted, I have been l loving it for the spring look and linked my exact pair! Note, I went down 1 size with these jeans, so a size 4.
