Lululemon Haul - Spring & Summer

UPDATE: I am excited to announce that I’m part of the lululemon collective and will receive a commission if you make a purchase through the links below (!!!) #thesweatlife #ad

Lululemon is one of my favourite stores for athletic wear, casual on-the-go clothes, and even work pieces. One of the things I love most is their high quality of their products, sizing consistency, and amazing customer service. The stand behind what they sell, and if I ever have an issue they always rectify the situation – which is why I will definitely spend more money on things that will last me long and I won’t worry if I get a lemon (haha get it?). Once a year (give or take… usually more give), I do a haul which end up being staples in my closet. Here is what I got this year, and a review of them after trying them out:

1) Brunswick Muscle Tank

I got this in black, and already want to get it again in white… and every colour they have. I absolutely love it and can’t say enough great things about it: it’s so soft, breathable, and fits great. It’s the perfect shirt when you’re like I have nothing to wear, and then think nvm I do, I’ll wear this one!!!! (again). I usually wear it tucked into my mom jean shorts, or over leggings.

Keep in mind: the black is starting to ever-so-slightly faded after some washes (approximately, 4?), but other than that no complaints this far!

2) Align Pant 28"

Again, I got these in black, and again I’m already considering what other colours I should get (navy? maroon? a fun print?). They. are. so. comfortable. The fabric is nulu so it’s more of a cotton-y feel, but a million times softer, it’s like butter against your skin. I probably wouldn’t wear these to the gym, or at most wear them to yoga. They’re high waisted (like really high, think below your bra), very lightweight, and still retains their shape without feeling like they’re squeezing it out of ya – which is actually what I prefer for my gym leggings but not when I’m lounging. They’re the kind of legging you get, but then don’t actually work out in. These are perfect for those cooler days, or summer nights.

Keep in mind: I do notice pilling already on the inside of the thighs, this is something I find happens in general but it happened after only a month or two of wear just FYI.

3) Everywhere Belt Bag 1L

Again… I got this in black, I am so predictable. But I just saw they have beautiful blush tones (Pink Taupe and Misty Pink), or a bold option (Carnation Red), and I’m wondering how many bags is too many. I got it because normally I am a bag lady, I have at least 3 at any given time (work bag, gym bag, lunch bag… minimum). But right now since I’m not working, anytime I run an errand (which is hardly ever given the circumstance) it has been so annoying. Do I bring a purse? A cross body bag? All I need is my phone, wallet, keys, why do I have such a big bag? Am I the only one with this problem? Why is going to the grocery story a mission now?! Enter: this bag.

Now I will say, shout out to Anna DePalma for #influencing me, I saw her with this bag and was like I need it. It can be a fanny pack or go across the body, it has water repellent fabric and is super easy to clean (tested this theory when got chocolate on it 2 seconds after taking it out of the package). There’s a main pocket with mesh pockets on the inside, and a zippered pocket on the back. I love it.

Keep in mind: I intended on fitting my wallet in it, I have a Kate Spade wallet I’m not sure how big it is... I’ll just measure it brb, ok it’s 19.5 cm long, 10 cm wide, so pretty big. I thought it would fit perfectly, but it’s just a smidgen tight, like I can’t fully zipper it. Now currently, who needs their whole wallet? Not me right now, but when it becomes bag lady time again, it might be a tight squeeze.

4) Uplifting Scrunchie Bow

Now I already have the uplifting scrunchie sans bow which I wear every day (guess what colour I have it in haha). So I got wild and got this one in white. It is superrrrrrr cute, very summer-y vibes and feminine. The elastic is pretty taut, and the material is very sweat wicking so it would be great from exercise to on the go (which is usually me).

Keep in mind: ok so the uplifting scrunchie has broken on me 4 times. I kid you not. Once was while I was on my mission trip in the Dominican Republic. But that also means I’ve had this scrunchie for years, and I have gotten a replacement each time with zero problems.

BONUS

5) On the Fly Short 2.5

This is bonus because… my sister bought it. If your sister is your BFF and the same size, then you know you essentially have a combined closet. Anyways, I have the On the Fly Pants and am obsessed with them. I wear them to work all summer, so I know that these would be the perfect addition to summer staples.

Did I miss something on the list? Or did you go out and get one of these? Let me know! Hope you’re all enjoying the start of summer!

Xoxo,

Coffee Loving Chiro
