Coffee & Tea Review

As you all know, I am affectionately called the Coffee Loving Chiro (I mean it’s self proclaimed but whatever). So today I am living up to my name to bring you a review of some coffees and teas from Cozy Corp! They are a family owned business from Brampton, Ontario (where my clinic Russo Family Chiropractic is too!) and they have a passion for tea and coffee, they literally say on their website that they start and end their days with a hot beverage (sound like my kind of people, am I right?!)

Ok so here is the product details right from Cozy Corp, with my review included after each explanation - enjoy!

Coffee

  • Europa
Product Details: Blackberry and caramel with a smooth body taste that you'll enjoy every single morning! I made mine in the French Press with…½ cup coffee grounds & 4 cups water
Review - I had my coffee with 1 teaspoon of stevia, and a splash of cream. The taste is not too weak, not too strong, the perfect balance. It has rich undertones, and great flavour! I feel like it’s a great everyday coffee!

Tea

  • Digestive Dreams - Stomach Relief Tea
Product Details: You know that feeling you get when you've had a big meal and just want to go to sleep? Well, this tea helps to give you the relief your gastrointestinal system needs. The butterfly pea flower (which brings out the BLUE colour of this tea) is believed to possess strong anti-aging properties!
Ingredients: Anise, Liquorice  Fennel, Currant, Rosehip, Butterfly blue pea flower, Hibiscus, Star anise, Nettle, Jasmine, Natural flavours (organic compliant).
Review - Very cool blue hue, it has the crispness of a peppermint tea with the underlying hint of black liquorice (which isn’t my favourite flavour), but I did find that it had a really nice, calming effect after eating.

  • Do Not Disturb - Sleep Tea
Product Details: This caffeine-free tea is best before going to sleep. Using only all-natural ingredients the tea calms the mind and body.
Ingredients: Lemongrass, Peppermint, Camomile, Rosehip, Spearmint, Valerian Root, Hibiscus, Cornflower petals, Natural flavours (Organic Compliant).
Review - The actual leaves were so pretty with little hints of blue flowers in it. I didn’t add anything to it and drank it as it, it was nice! It gave me more of a peppermint tea vibes which is something I like to drink after a big meal, it definitely was nice and cozy to have before bed.

  • Earl Grey
Product Details: Traditionally Earl Grey was a blend of Chinese and Indian teas scented with oil from the citrus bergamot fruit - a sort of orange. Fun fact: it’s the Queen of England's favourite tea!
Ingredients: Black tea, Cornflower petals, Natural flavours (Organic Compliant).
Review - I added a teaspoon of stevia and a splash of 2% milk. Classic earl grey taste with a touch of vanilla, warm and cozy. Intensity was more on the lighter side, and I could have steeped it for longer to have a bolder flavour. I ended up putting the infuser in while I drank it.

  • Vanilla Chai
Product Details: Chai is such an integral part of Indian culture; its typically made using a rich black tea with heavy milk, cardamom, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and pepper. We've taken the soothing aspect of this blend one step further and added a dash of vanilla. This addition of vanilla adds a hint of creaminess to this tea!
Ingredients: Black tea, Ginger, Cinnamon, Cardamom, Black+White pepper, Clove, Nutmeg, Calendula petals, Natural flavors (organic compliant).
Review: Now I normally don’t like chia because so “spicy” like that normal taste that goes with it isn’t my jam, but this one I added a splash of milk and half a spoon of sugar, and the the vanilla softens it for a nice holiday vibe drink.

So there you have it!! Let me know if you try any and what you think! Happy sipping everyone! Xox
