Fall Fun North of Toronto

Ok so even though summer is my favourite season, fall is a very close second. The only downfall being that it’s so short! I love the cozy sweaters, cute boots, leaves changing colour, farm fun, comfort foods and obviously the coffee/PSLs/apple cider and all the other delicious warm beverages. Now ever since I moved north of Toronto, my love for fall has grown exponentially. Here is a list I complied with my fiancé of our favourite things to do in the Peel region close to home that makes us fall in love with fall:

  1. All the Farm Fun

Whether it’s apple or pumpkin picking, we love to shop local and check our close by farms, some of our favourites are: Downey’s to go take a picture in their large pumpkin patch and pick up pumpkin donuts. Dixie Orchards to pick up some fresh apples, and go for a tractor ride.

  2. Go Grab a Coffee

You all know how much I love my coffee, some of my favourite places to get it are: The Common Good which always has a seasonal drink, soo good) and Butter & Cup (+ they have the best scones) - both have amazing lunch food as well which leads me to…

  3. Food Food Food

I’m all about the carbs and comfort foods always, but particularly more at this time of year. I love to grab a pizza at Spirit Tree, have a big bowl of pasta at Terra Cotta Inn (and trust me I’m picky with my pasta)

  4. Fall Fair

My fiancé introduced me to the Bolton Fall Fair and it is the cutest, straight out of a movie slash Gilmore Girl vibe event around. There’s also a ton of others in the surrounding around: Brampton, Orangeville, Beeton, etc. This year may not be running but in the future, it is definitely something to check out.

There you have it! Check out these amazing local spots, and let me know if you like it!
